WheelTug has an experienced team driving forward the development of the WheelTug system. Key personnel and partners include:


Chief Executive Officer - Isaiah Cox

Isaiah has assembled and led WheelTug from concept through demonstration with Boeing, partnership agreements with Delta and others to present. Isaiah has an A.B. from Princeton University and holds over a dozen U.S. patents.


Program Manager - Daniel Barbalata

Daniel oversaw development, testing, cert and launch of Bombardier Global Express aircraft family (multiple variants). Daniel was also Program Manager at Hispano-Suiza for design, test, cert and launch of L/G and SCU on Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft. Introduced new tools and manufacturing processes in joint program between British Aerospace and Romaero.


Senior Certification Advisor - Gilbert Thompson

Gilbert has more than 32 years of experience with FAA, including as head of Los Angeles Aircraft Certification Office (ACO). Gilbert's certification experience includes L-1011, McDonnell Douglas DC8, DC9, DC10, MD-80, MD-90, KC-10A, MD-11, Boeing 717-200, C-17 Globemaster. Winner of AW&ST Laurels Award (1999) for outstanding achievement in aeronautics/propulsion.


Chief Scientist (Chorus Motors) - Jon Edelson

Jon is the inventor of WheelTug motor technology, specializes in AC induction and high-phase order machines and the use of harmonics. Jon holds an A.B. from Princeton University, as well as multiple motor and technical patents.


Outside Aerospace Counsel - The Law Offices of Brian E. Foont, PLLC.

Brian served with a major U.S. carrier for over ten years, ending as Assistant General Counsel. He holds a B.A. cum laude in Mathematics and History (Honors) from University of Rochester, a J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law, and an LL.M. with Distinction in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University Law Center.
